Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at KiMo Theatre
August 27 · 9:00 pm - August 28 · 12:00 am

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the California swing band that never really went away after the late-90s revival, plays the KiMo Theatre in a pairing that actually makes sense: the band’s horns-out, big-room energy fits the KiMo’s 700-seat Pueblo Deco interior better than most clubs could manage. The KiMo has limited flat floor space, so if you want to dance rather than sit in the tiered seating, arrive early and stake out the small open area near the front. Tickets are through Hold My Ticket, and this room does sell out, so don’t wait on the assumption that swing fans are rare in Albuquerque.
