TOTO, Christopher Cross & The Romantics

Three acts who collectively defined a particular strain of late-70s and early-80 radio are sharing one bill: TOTO’s musicianship-forward arena rock, Christopher Cross’s yacht-soft balladry, and the Romantics’ power-pop crunch make for a genuinely odd triple bill that somehow works on paper. The outdoor amphitheater sits well south of Central, so plan accordingly, and August nights in Albuquerque cool down fast once the sun drops behind the West Mesa.
