Designer Runway Competition at Lobo Theater

Original collections from New Mexico designers hit the runway inside the Lobo Theater’s 1938 Art Deco house, with the audience casting the votes that decide both the Designer Award and the Model Award. That voting mechanic is not a gimmick: your ticket is literally a ballot, which changes how you watch every look come down the runway. Between collections there’s a vendor market and photo ops throughout the building, so arrive closer to the 5:30 doors than the 6:30 runway if you want time to move around before the seats fill.
