Goth Beach Party at El Rey

Four DJs, a goth beach concept, and a start time that is technically 9:30 PM local (the UTC listing puts this squarely in Saturday night prime time) make this the third year Apparition has taken over El Rey for what has quietly become one of the more committed theme nights on the corridor. El Rey’s long narrow floor compresses a crowd nicely, which works in a late-night DJ format where the room needs to feel full before it feels good. Tickets are through Hold My Ticket, so buy ahead if you want to skip the door line on a July Saturday.
