Two R&B headliners who collectively logged more radio hours in the late 2000s than most people care to admit are sharing a stage here, which on paper is a better double bill than either could pull off solo right now. The amphitheater is an outdoor shed on the west side, well off Central, and summer nights out there cool down faster than you’d expect once the sun drops behind the mesa.
