This is a live tablao flamenco show, the kind built around the triangle of dancer, singer, and guitarist performing for a close-in seated audience, not a stage-at-a-distance production. Hotel Albuquerque’s tablao room is genuinely intimate, which means the footwork lands in your chest and the cante lands in your face, for better or worse depending on the night’s cast (still TBD at listing time). Balloon Fiesta week brings a lot of first-time Albuquerque visitors to this show, so booking ahead is not just a suggestion.
