Anodyne has been running ten red-felt pool tables upstairs on Central Avenue since 1995. Some of the bartenders have worked there nearly that long, and the regulars range from lawyers to landscapers.

Anodyne is a second-floor pool hall and bar at 409 Central Ave NW in downtown Albuquerque, with pinball machines along with the tables. Happy hour starts at 4 p.m., and the bar pours top-shelf Scotch next to local drafts.
