Cherry Hills Library
Albuquerque / THE ROOM
Why this room makes the map
Cherry Hills is on this map for its free midday concerts, part of a series the Public Library runs with AMP Concerts and the Friends of the Public Library at several branches. The branch also keeps a busy book club calendar, including a horror group that meets on Monday nights.
About the room
The branch opened in 1998 at Harper Road and Barstow Street NE, a block east of Wyoming, and was first known as Harper Barstow. It is a Northeast Heights neighborhood library with a meeting room for about 35 people and a Fiction to Go shelf of cheap donated books.
Before you go
Library concerts are free, and some programs ask you to register, so read the listing on the library's events calendar. Sunday hours are short. Confirm current hours on abqlibrary.org before you go.
