Duke City Beaches put sand courts in the Northeast Heights, with volleyball and beach soccer played a few steps from the taproom patio. Club WAKA runs co-ed sand volleyball there, and live music and a long list of New Mexico craft beer give spectators a reason to stay.
About the room
The building on Menaul Boulevard NE used to be a Jiffy Lube. Modulus Design turned it into a restaurant and taproom that kept the old garage doors and added steel, wood and patios facing the sand.
