Keshet Center for the Arts
Albuquerque / THE ROOM

Why this room makes the map
Keshet's building on Cutler Avenue wears the largest mural in New Mexico, more than 13,400 square feet of paint across its front, sides and top level. Inside, a black box theater with a sprung stage hosts the resident Keshet Dance Company and visiting shows.
About the room
Keshet Dance Company was founded in 1996 and later turned a former soundstage and adjoining warehouse at 4121 Cutler Ave NE into a 30,000-square-foot arts center with six studios. It anchors the Midtown Arts and Entertainment District and runs dance programs with young people in the juvenile justice system.
