Marble Brewery Downtown

Albuquerque / THE ROOM

Why this room makes the map

Marble put a stage in its downtown taproom from the day it opened and built its name on no-cover local shows. Most of the drinking happens outside, on a rooftop deck and a street-side patio at First Street and Marble Avenue.

About the room

Ted Rice, John Gozigian and Jeff Jinnett opened Marble in April 2008 in a renovated warehouse at 111 Marble Ave NW and named the brewery after the street. The building was split about one-third pub and two-thirds brewhouse, and Marble was named Small Brewery of the Year at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival.

Before you go

Marble opened as a beer-only taproom, and food comes from trucks, so check the brewery's site or social pages for the day's truck and the music schedule. Parking was one reason the founders picked this building, which helps on show nights.
