Rio Bravo Brewing
Albuquerque / THE ROOM
Why this room makes the map
Rio Bravo pours in a former Firestone tire building at Second Street and McKnight in Wells Park, with a taproom, an upstairs barrel room and a beer garden that holds 200 or more. The space is big enough for live bands, cornhole tournaments and beer dinners on the same weekend.
About the room
Albuquerque natives Randy and Denise Baker opened the brewery in 2015 after nearly a decade of planning, inspired by the neighborhood pubs they found in Ireland. Their three daughters now handle marketing, brewing and sales.
Before you go
Parking is free in the brewery's large lot, and leashed dogs are welcome. Check riobravobrewing.com for current hours and the music lineup.
