Skidmore's Holiday Bowl has been on Lomas since 1958 and kept up with the times: the lanes end at a 144-foot LED video wall. It also added private karaoke rooms for groups.
About the room
Tom Shaw opened the alley at 7515 Lomas Blvd NE, and Gary Skidmore bought it in 1986 and runs it with his wife, Eve. Close to $4 million in upgrades since then brought an arcade, a bar, a scratch kitchen and an indoor patio with garage doors.
Before you go
Call ahead for lane availability if you are bringing a group, and reserve a karaoke room in advance. Check the alley's Facebook page for open bowling hours.
