Tablao Flamenco Albuquerque at Hotel Albuquerque
Albuquerque / THE ROOM

Why this room makes the map
Tablao Flamenco Albuquerque follows the Andalusian tablao model, a small room where the dancers and guitarists work a few feet from your table. The National Institute of Flamenco, founded in Albuquerque by Eva Encinias in 1982, programs it and brings in artists from across the U.S. and Spain.
About the room
The tablao opened in 2016 inside Hotel Albuquerque at 800 Rio Grande Blvd NW, on the edge of Old Town, as a partnership between Heritage Hotels and Resorts and the institute. It gives one of the country's most respected flamenco programs a regular weekend stage.
Before you go
Friday and Saturday evening shows come with dinner options up to three courses, and Sunday is a matinee with a charcuterie board. The room is small, so book ahead through tablaoflamenco.org.
