Nob Hill: Albuquerque’s Route 66 Corridor
Nob Hill is the stretch of Central where Route 66 feels most like a neighborhood and least like a highway. Neon signs, walkable blocks, a mile of storefronts and bars and one old movie house that never quite closed. It is the part of the corridor you can spend a whole night in without moving the car.
The music runs from the Lobo Theater's big screen and stage to the taprooms and clubs that keep the blocks busy after dark. It is a going-out neighborhood, the kind where the night finds you rather than the other way around. Come for a show, stay for the walk between them.
